2020 September-October Cards

My first time buying unbranded dies was this bottles set (similar to Stampin Up Bubble Over).  They are not the same exact size and not nearly as nice, but I had to try once.  I created this card for our Nephew.

Long time co-worker is retiring so I created this card with Stampin Up stamps and punch, circle and ovals are dies.  I then found out he doesn't golf so it's going in my stash.

Another former co-worker is having a difficult time, I saw a similar layout on another page and created this with the dragonfly theme (her daughter's favorite).

This is my first slimline card I made for my sister in laws  94 yr old parents.  Stampin Up stamps, colored with pencils, shapes on cover is cut from Elegant Edges on Cricut, include circles are dies.

Used the same layout to create a card for a co-worker.

I created this Z-Fold card for a dear friend and former boss.

I started new tradition this year where I send a congratulations card for another month of school completed to each of my grandkids along with a little gift (mostly clothes).  For October I made the cards of their favorite heros. I found the files in Cricut Design Space, downloaded and did as print then cut. For Wonder Woman and cut two additional layers and adhered with dimensionals to add depth.  For Black Panther I did the same but staggered to to make it look like it is moving.

Our first great-great nephew is turning 2, he loves farm equipment so I had to design something with a tractor.  I found this fabulous paper then found a tractor in Cricut DS that matches pretty good.  I originally wanted the tractor on an action wobble but didn't have a small enough one to work.

Great-great niece turns 4, found this inspired card off Pinterest.  All cricut cuts, draw and stickers I had in my stash.

Niece's card, my first attempt at the barn door card, I like how it turned out.  Stamps and dies are all Stampin' Up.  Used corner punch I had for sentiment inside and a die for the Happy Birthday.

I made this card for my husband and I's anniversary.

Doing Halloween cards are new to me this year.  I made these for my grandkids, sister, mom and friend.

I used the same inside for both.

These below are my first try at napkin cards, the second one I like much better and feel more comfortable with the process.

The card below is a Stampin Up stamp cut out with Cricut and hand colored.  The background is Stampin Up stencil.

2020 August Cards

This baby card is a kit from Inspiration Station that I put my own spin on.

This happy birthday was in the same card is a kit from Inspiration Station that I put my own spin on.

Make this card for my mom who's says her favorite flowers are mums.

My sister likes elephants so I made this card from design space.

I purchased a class kit from one of my favorite SU representatives, MyPinkStamper, I didn't not have the stamp, nor dies, but was able to recreate similar cards via some download files and changing them into SVGs and Cricut cuts I found.  I love how they turned out.

This one was from the same class kit, the flower is one of my daughter's favorites.

My sister's step daughter graduated from Eaton Rapids High School in May, her open house is in August so I created this card using her school colors.

This is another card from the card kit.  Loved the challenge in finding images in Cricut DS to recreate.

The cupcake background card is for a great niece who is also a chef.  Sister in law is also celebrating her birthday in August.  I tried out a Cricut Joy file using Explorer machine.  It is a learning curve to say the least.  Since I ended up with two cuts, I adapted to the cards to what I needed.  I used the same sentiment on the inside of both cards.

A great-great niece was born this month, made this card to welcome her in the world.
